On December 17^th, listeners must have been shocked to hear – on Sunday Politics, BBC 1 – that only £5bn of the year’s £200bn welfare budget goes to unemployed.

It was good to see the subject highlighted on the Birmingham University Labour Students’ website, via The Brummie.

This referred by link to a Channel 4 News programme which looked at the findings of a Yougov poll revealing the difference between public perceptions of benefit claimants – and the reality.

It continued: “This is what was revealed in a YouGov poll where respondents gave answers similar to the ones suggested. Want to know the real answers?”

1. Welfare budget spent on unemployed people? – 4% not 42%.
2. Welfare budget claimed fraudulently? 0.7% not 27%
3. Who will be hit most by the 1% limit on benefits? – Primarily the employed and those seeking work.
4. And average weekly Job Seeker allowance? – £111.45 not £147.

Ending: “But hey, why try solve society’s real problems when you can lie and create scapegoats out of the most vulnerable in society?”

Mind the Gaps: between spin doctors, bloggers and tweeters

The Slog is an admirable blog and therefore extremely popular and, I hope, influential with 3.080,195 visitors since January 2010.

Its author John Ward wages war on distraction, distortion & deception.

In today’s post he points out MEDIA HIJACK: the spinning wheel accelerates - a brilliant analysis once again with superb wording.

When I came to London in 1981 with the vision of a peace network of people and computers protecting our planet, I used a press clipping service to become familiar with ‘the scene’. I noticed how the same articles were printed all over again.

Now I know who produces them: spin doctors. But now we have bloggers to counteract their opinion shaping and and Twitter to set other trends than the mainstream media.

In that spirit, we are organising Mind the Gaps: between Online and Mainstream Media, Government and Public – to produce a video for online viewing – with the ‘Slogger’ as panellist, sponsored by John Hemming MP and Austin Mitchell MP – next Tuesday, 15th January at the House of Commons.

How can “The Power of We” be harnessed so that the 1% serve the 99%?

Wouldn’t it be ‘nice’, if the global elite were here to serve society and planet rather than exploit, control and destroy!?…

We could ignore the 1%, if only

• they didn’t control people with a dishonest money system
• dishonest money didn’t fuel wars and other ecological disasters
• they did not abuse children in their wrongdoings.

What can we do with The Power of We:

1. sign online petitions which happens every day
2. participate in Blog Action Day once a year
3. keep learning from the internet and spreading the word about what we don’t learn from the mass media.

What else is there???

Shock Therapy about the Child Abuse Pyramid: for my Mind and Yours?

Henry Makow got a Ph.D. for English literature and wrote A Long Way to Go for a Date about women in the Philippines. On his website, he exposes ‘feminism and the New World Order’.

Well, he doesn’t know what it is to be a woman with a scientific, rational and logical mind. After all, ‘feminism’, like any other ‘ism’, touches these women and those women… But his theories are VERY convincing!

Independent of his gender issues, I was sent to his site now because of an email pointing to The Royal Arch: Sociopaths Who Rule Britain by MI-6 Insider.

I’ve heard it more than once, this allegation of satanic ritual abuse. I’ve heard from one of the daughters of parents deprived of their children that she was taken to dark places where there were only men.

Whose Message is “We Oppose Deception”? Who is deceiving how?

After having discovered “We Who Oppose Deception -  and we do reserve all rights at all times and in all places”, I loved it so much that I had to start this blog.

Recently, I got an email from Richard Moore who alerted me to The Science of Crop Circles and I re-marvelled at that most remarkable phenomenon.

And then I noticed the story by the wonderful scientist Carl Sagan whose message was sent “into space” in 1974 and got a response exactly one year later:

• with single letters coded into ASCII – the computer code I knew more or less by heart once upon a time
• translated into English
• resulting in this text:

Beware with the bearers of false presence and broken promises.

UK Whistleblower and deep German Analysis of possible False Flag Attack during Olympics

The friend who alerted me in February about a possible attack just told me how the investigative journalist Lee Hazledean who pretended to want to work for the G4S security company experienced his training:

• they have to expect an event
• bombs are already planted
• they might have to expect an evacuation of London
• they don’t need uniforms in order not to be a target
• they were accepted by a “no fail policy”, even though their training was far from adequate.

All in all: a complete farce, just as the trial in which the worst of all child snatching cases was staged…

But who needs ‘security’ to carry out an attack? You just need victims!
