It was worrying to hear tell of the latest woes of beloved monarch, Queen Elizabeth.
According to the Mail, she broke years of tradition by not accepting flowers from children, who had waited patiently to see her, after she attended church at Sandringham:
” After the service, the monarch left in her maroon Bentley, for once dispensing with the tradition of collecting flowers from a line of children.
Instead the Queen paused only to wave to well-wishers as she emerged after the 45 minute service at St Mary Magdalene church ended at 11.45am.
Crowd members were told that the large number of children who met the Queen on Christmas Day had made her late for lunch with her family. Instead they were asked to give flowers to Princess Anne.”
